Recipe of Veggie and Lettuce Salad

This Fresh Veggie and Lettuce Salad is really delicious and healthy. It is also one of the quickest recipes that are easy to prepare. All you need is lettuce and Vegetables of your choice, I have used Red bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and sweet corns.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head Iceberg Lettuce remove leaves, wash and place in ice-cold water
  • 1, red bell pepper finely sliced
  • Cherry Tomatoes washed
  • 1, Cucumber peeled and finely sliced
  • 100 g Sweet corns boiled
  • 1 ½ cups Bread Croutons

FOR SALAD DRESSING

  • ½ tbsp Lime juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Extra virgin
  • Black pepper powder freshly ground
  • 5-6 cloves Garlic crushed
  • Salt as per taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, place the sliced cucumber, bell pepper, tomato, and croutons.
  • Tear the washed and drained lettuce leaves and place them in the bowl.
  • Toss all the ingredients using two large wooden forks. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge until serving time.
  • Just before serving, whisk the salad dressing and pour over the lettuce salad and toss to combine.

Notes

You can Garnish it with Roasted Nuts of your choice and can also throw in some pieces of grilled Paneer
