Beetroot Paratha

Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp grated beetroot
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 1 tsp cumin powder/ jeera powder
  • a handful of freshly chopped coriander leaves
  • salt as per taste
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil for parathas

Step 1 of 8

Firstly, keep all the ingredients ready on a plate for kneading the dough.

Step 2 of 8

Now mix water in the dough and knead the dough till it is soft and keep it aside for 10 minutes.

Step 3 of 8

Make 6 balls out of the dough and keep it ready.

Step 4 of 8

Roll the parathas into a circle, fold it into a triangle and apply little ghee and sprinkle some flour on it.

Step 5 of 8

Again make a small triangle out of it as shown in the picture.

Step 6 of 8

Roll it into a triangle and cook it on a Tawa.

Step 7 of 8

Apply 1 tsp of oil on both the sides and make parathas till they are cooked properly.

Step 8 of 8

Repeat the same procedure for all the parathas and stack them on one another and serve it hot.
