Preheat the oven to 180 C and grease a baking tin of your choice.

Break the chocolate into pieces and place it in a small heat-proof bowl.

Melt the plain chocolate in the bowl over a pan of simmering water on the hob.

Cream the butter and sugar together in a large bowl.

Stir in the melted chocolate and vanilla.
Step 6 of 8
Break the eggs into a bowl and beat with a fork.
Step 7 of 8
Add the eggs to the butter mixture and stir in.
Step 8 of 8
Add the flour and stir. Stir in the chocolate chips.
