Cream sugar and butter until creamy.

Sieve maida, baking powder, baking soda well until evenly mixed. Add it to butter and sugar mixture.

Bring it together to form a soft dough (add milk only if its too dry and doesn’t come together).

Add the choco chips in the dough and give a quick stir.

Preheat the oven to 180 deg C for 10mins.
Step 6 of 8
Meanwhile, roll them into medium-sized balls and flatten it with your palms.
Step 7 of 8
Bake the cookies for 15-20 minutes at 170-180 deg C till they are golden brown in color.
Step 8 of 8
Once baked remove them and cool on the wire rack.
