Chocolate Peanut Butter Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate- chips
  • 1 cup Christmas sprinkles and gems

Step 1 of 8

Place the butter, peanut butter and sugar in a mixing bowl and using your electric mixer, mix on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about one minute.

Mix 2½ cups of flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt and stir to combine.

Step 3 of 8

Use your mixer to combine the dry mixture with the wet mixture. If the dough needs a little moisture, add 1 tbsp of milk.

When the dough is just right, add the chocolate chips and sprinkles/gems and mix some more until the sprinkles are incorporated throughout the dough.

When you’re ready to bake the cookies, turn your oven to 180-degree C.

Make roughly small balls of cookie dough and places 1½ inches apart on your cookie sheet.

Step 7 of 8

Pour some additional sprinkles on top of the cookie dough to give the top a nice coating of sprinkles.

Step 8 of 8

Place it back on the cookie pan and gently smash the top of the cookie to ensure that the new sprinkles are embedded in the cookie dough ball. Repeat with each cookie.
