Grilled Potato Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 Bread slices White
  • 3 Potatoes Boiled
  • 2 tbsp Green Coriander Chutney
  • 2 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin/Jeera powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper powder
  • a handful of coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • Salt or as per taste
  • 1 red or green chili finely chopped

Step 1 of 8

Firstly, boil the potatoes, peel the skin and mash it nicely till there are no lumps.

Now add black pepper powder, cumin/jeera powder, and chili powder to the mashed potatoes.

Also add finely chopped chilies, coriander leaves, lemon juice, and salt into the mashed potatoes.

Mix all the spices nicely into the mixture till there are no lumps.

Take bread slices, apply butter, and then chutney on all the slices.

Step 6 of 8

Now place a spoonful of potato mixture onto the bread slices and cover with the other 2 slices to make a sandwich.

Heat a grill pan and apply butter on the pan, once the pan is hot grill the sandwiches till brown and crispy.

Once it is cooked and crispy from both sides, remove the sandwiches on a plate, cut it into half and serve it with coriander chutney and tomato ketchup.
