Oats and Dry Fruit Kheer

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Instant Oats
  • 1/2 cup Rice
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 4 cups Milk
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • HANDFUL OF PISTACHIOS AND DRY ROSE PETALS FOR GARNISHING

Step 1 of 8

Heat ghee in a pan and roast oats till they are light brown in color and the raw smell subsides.

Step 2 of 8

Add 2 cups of milk and let the oats cook in it.

Step 3 of 8

Once oats absorb the milk and thicken add sugar and rest 2 cups of milk.

Step 4 of 8

At this point add cardamom powder and stir everything properly so that it doesn’t stick to the pan.

Step 5 of 8

Keep stirring till the Oats kheer is creamy and thick.

Step 6 of 8

Remove from the stove and let it cool.

Step 7 of 8

Garnish oats kheer with roasted almonds, pistachios, and dry rose petals.

Step 8 of 8

Refrigerate it for 2 hours and relish it cold.
