Plum Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2-3 Big size ripe plums with pits removed and diced
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 cups + 4 cups Water
  • To garnish few sprigs of mint leaves
  • few Ice cubes

Step 1 of 8

Place the plums, sugar, and 2 cups of water in a saucepan.

Step 2 of 8

Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally while smashing the pulp.

Step 3 of 8

Strain the warm plum syrup into a large bowl or glass jug.

Step 4 of 8

Add the strained juice of two lemons, and a pinch of salt. Stir until combined.

Step 5 of 8

This is your lemonade concentrate. Let it cool under the room temperature.

Step 6 of 8

Take 2 tall glasses and add 2 cups of water in each glass.

Step 7 of 8

Add 1 cup of plum lemonade concentrate in each glass, stir it, add ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve.

Step 8 of 8

You can also use sprite or plain soda in place of water.
