Roasted Almond And Oats Chikki

Ingredients

  • 2 cups-Oats
  • 2 cups-Organic Jaggery
  • 1/2 cup-Black Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tsp-Ghee
  • 1/2 Cup-Roasted Almonds

Step 1 of 8

Take a pan and add 1 tsp of ghee and roast the Oats in it till they are light brown in color and the raw smell disappears.

Step 2 of 8

Add black sesame seeds in the same bowl and let it roast for 1 minute. Remove the Oats and black sesame seeds and keep it in a bowl and let it cool.

Chop the almonds into small pieces and keep it aside.

Step 4 of 8

Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan and roast almonds at a lower flame till they are light brown in color.

Step 5 of 8

Keep it aside in a bowl.

Step 6 of 8

Heat the pan and add 2 cups of jaggery in it and let it melt till you start seeing the bubbles.

Step 7 of 8

Once you see the bubbles in it add Oats, black sesame seeds, and roasted almonds and mix everything till it is well combined and switch off the gas.

Step 8 of 8

Take 2 big plates and grease a little with ghee on the flat side and spread the Chikki mixture on it.
