Firstly, Boil Sweet potatoes in a pressure pan for 1-2 whistles and then switch off the flame. Once the pressure pan cools down, remove boiled sweet potatoes and keep it on a plate.

Once the sweet potatoes cool down, peel off the skin.

Take a broad vessel and mash all the sweet potatoes with a masher.

Now add cumin powder, rock salt, finely chopped green chilies, and coriander leaves in the mashed sweet potatoes.

Now shape them into small tikkis and keep them on a plate.

Heat a nonstick pan, add oil, and place all the tikkis on it and cook it on one side till it becomes brown.
Step 7 of 8
Shallow fry sweet potato tikkis on both the sides till they turn brown in color and are cooked evenly.
Step 8 of 8
Once done garnish with fresh coriander and serve it with Vrat chutney.
