  • 1 onion
  • 4 boiled potatoes
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder/Haldi powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder/dhania powder
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil


  • Firstly, slice onions lengthwise and keep it aside.
  • Peel the boiled potatoes and dice into big cubes.
  • Heat oil in a Kadai, fry onions till crisp and brown.
  • Now add dhania/coriander powder in that oil itself.
  • Mix diced potatoes, turmeric powder and stir for 2-3 minutes till all the spices are well coated.
  • Finally, add salt and red chili powder at the end, stir for a minute and remove from the fire.
