Firstly, soak white chickpeas, chana overnight for 6-7 hours. Next morning, wash chickpeas in running water and boil them in a pressure pan till 5-6 whistles till they are soft. Add salt in chana while boiling. Let the pressure release and once it's cool down, open the lid and strain the chickpeas in a colander and remove all the water. Keep the white chickpeas aside on a plate.
