Rajgira Sheera is a gluten-free and scrumptious Indian Sweet recipe. This is made with Rajgira also know an Amaranth flour, ghee, sugar, and nuts. Moreover, this Amaranth flour halwa is consumed during Vrat | Upwas or fasting.

Firstly, heat ghee in a pan on medium flame and roast cashew nuts and almonds till they turn brown. Remove it and keep it in a bowl.
Now add rajgira flour in the ghee.
Keep it on a low flame and keep stirring it with a spatula.
Stir the flour at regular intervals till you get a nutty aroma and the color changes.
Roast the flour till it is brown and it releases ghee from the sides.
Now add hot water in it | If you are using milk add it now.
It will splutter when you add hot water, so be careful.
Once, all the water is absorbed add sugar and cardamom powder.
Now keep on stirring continuously till all the water is evaporated and the halwa becomes gooey and leaves the sides of the pan.
Remove it from the flame and transfer it into a bowl and add roasted almonds and cashew nuts and serve.
