Peanut Sundal

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup Peanuts
  • 1/2 inch jaggery piece
  • 1 tsp Tamarind pulp
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp udad dal
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 5-6 curry leaves
  • 1/4 cup coconut
  • salt as per taste

Now heat oil in a Kadai and add urad dal and mustard seeds in it.

Once they start to crackle and turn brown in color add curry leaves and let it crackle for a few seconds.

Now add boiled peanuts in the pan and fry quickly for a few minutes.

Add jaggery piece, tamarind extract, salt, and green chilies in the pan, stir and mix it well.

Finally, switch off the flame and add freshly grated coconut, mix it, and serve.
