Purple Cabbage Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 medium-size chopped purple cabbage
  • 1 medium sliced onions
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp freshly ground pepper powder
  • 2 cups vegetable stock or water
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh cream

Step 1 of 6

Firstly, heat olive oil in a pan and add sliced onions and minced garlic and saute for 2 minutes till brown.

Step 2 of 6

Now add chopped purple cabbage in it and stir on a high flame for 3 minutes.

Step 3 of 6

Cook till the cabbage turns brown and shrinks a bit.

Step 4 of 6

Add 2 cups of water, salt, and pepper powder in that and boil the cabbage mixture for 3 minutes.

Step 5 of 6

Switch off the flame and let it cool for 10 minutes and then blend it in a mixer till smooth.

Step 6 of 6

Garnish your purple cabbage soup with fresh cream and serve it hot.
