Strawberry Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 cups– fresh strawberry puree
  • 1/2 cup- fresh strawberry chunks
  • 1 1/2 liters- full-fat milk
  • 1 1/2 cup- sugar
  • 1 cup- whipped cream
  • 1 tsp- cardamom powder

Step 1 of 8

Boil milk on a medium flame for 30 minutes stirring in between.

Step 2 of 8

Once the milk has boiled and almost reduced to half the quantity add the sugar and cardamom powder.

Step 3 of 8

Stir the milk continuously for another 5 minutes till it is thick and creamy.

Step 4 of 8

Let it cool for an hour at room temperature.

Step 5 of 8

Now take 1 cup of strawberry puree and mix it in the cold milk.

Step 6 of 8

Keep it in the deep freezer overnight or for 8 hours till it is set properly.

Step 7 of 8

Remove the container from the deep freezer and let it melt.

Step 8 of 8

Beat the above mixture with a hand beater for 5 minutes till it is soft and creamy.
