Udaipur is a royal city well known for its heritage, elegant culture, and rustic charm. Udaipur is an extremely vibrant city that screams luxury and opulence all over.
Be it the magnificent palaces, colorful streets, crystal clear lakes, aesthetic culture, or romantic vibes, Udaipur is definitely my favorite and the most magnificent city. Our stay was booked with Club Mahindra Udaipur- the best name for hospitality and I must say that was the best decision ever. It is a little far away from the city and from the hustle-bustle and chaos of the city. Nestled in a secluded area with a nice view, it makes an ideal stay. Our room was facing Amargadh fort and it was a pretty view.
Traditional and warm welcome beckons you at the entrance of the property. It gives you warm and positive vibes about the feel of the place.
The rooms were very nice, bright, spacious along with a nice view. The staff members were extremely nice, kind, helpful and on their toes to offer their services. The activity zone was pretty entertaining and always up with some of the other activities to keep their guests occupied and entertained. The puppet show, Dj night, Art, and craft to name a few were some of the highlights of the stay.
The breakfast scenes were super delicious with a wide range of baked goodies along with fresh and hot south Indian delicacies and other healthy and delicious breakfast dishes.
The Health zone attracted my attention and I was really impressed to see the section below. They had many good options for detox water that is the best drink and also the super healthy seeds that you can sprinkle on your cereals or just pop in. The overall breakfast spread was worth experiencing.
Udaipur is popularly known as the “Venice of East” also has lots of variety of food to offer. While exploring any city what really captures the vibes of the place is the taste and variety of food it has to offer. Experiencing one such delightful experience with a very warm and friendly environment stay was at Club Mahindra Udaipur resort.
Experience of Gala Dinner at Club Mahindra Udaipur
My friend and I were offered a gala dinner on one of the evenings of our stay. They had arranged a special set up on the terrace with candle-light dinner, Rajasthani folk music in the background.
Everything was just brilliant from the quality of the food, variety of food along with an excellent service. They had served us a 5-course meal for us starting from one of the favorite appetizers named Jaljeera along with papads and green coriander chutney. It was followed by Rajasthani shorba that was delicious and spicy.
In starters, they had Khasta paneer and Dahi ke kebabs.
Both the starters were delicious, but for me, Dahi ke kababs stole the show. To be honest I had never ever tasted such yummy, soft and delicious dahi e kababs earlier. Totally relished it along with salad and chutney.
The Rajasthani platter was a totally gastronomical experience we had. The thali included Dal, baati, kadhi, moti pulao, ker sangri, mixed vegetable, paneer Makhan Wala, raita, roti, papads along with Buttermilk. The food was scrumptious and lip-smacking and the taste of the food will linger forever.
Chef Abhishek is an extremely kind and nice person who is absolutely passionate about cooking and has tremendous knowledge of different cuisine. He interacts with each customer and suggests the dishes as per their taste buds. We consider ourselves lucky enough to relish the food that was cooked by him and his team.
This Gala dinner arranged specially for us was a scintillating experience with the most delicious Rajasthani fare. Be it your anniversary, Valentine’s day, or you just want to make your partner or family feel special, then this specially arranged candle-light dinner at Club Mahindra Udaipur is an experience that should not be missed. Club Mahindra Udaipur had showered us with amazing hospitality and our stay with them will be memorable for a lifetime.
