Derby Restobar at Kamala Mills, Cowboy Theme

Derby Resto-bar, a new place opened at Kamala Mills has sports and cowboy theme and the decor is done keeping these 2 factors in mind. The music played here was very nice and peppy.

The service was very nice and courteous and Mr Benjamin who looked after our table was very polite and friendly. The other staff guys were also prompt in their service. The food here has a blend of Asian, Italian and North Indian and so it serves to a wide range of crowd. Food tasted good especially the chat items were really full of flavours, really liked all of it.

The list of the items that we tried here was

Guacamole sev puri loved this dish.

Kale tempura Chaat, it was deep-fried and a little too oily, but the spices in this Chaat was delicious and refreshing.

Japanese Soba noodle salad with roasted sweet potato and garlic soya sauce, I really liked this one, however, soya was little too dominant for my palate.

Veg Gyoza with cream cheese, quinoa and cabbage, the filling tasted too delicious but the covering was little thick so had to take some efforts in chewing it.

Mushroom galouti kababs, amazing presentation of this dish, tastes good as well.

Desserts

Gulab Jamun cheesecake did not like this one as it was little dense and the egg flavour was too dominant. Need some improvement here.

Avocado ice cream drizzled with honey, winner dish of the evening, tasted this combination for the first time and relished it a lot.
