Dragon fruit looks somewhat like white kiwi and has a very mild taste. It is bright colored interesting looking fruit that is grown in South East Asia. It is high in vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus, fiber, and antioxidants. While the flesh of dragon fruit does not have any fat, the seeds and center contain some healthy monounsaturated fats and protein. Dragon fruits are also a good source of dietary fiber. While talking about pomegranates we all know that’s one of the superfoods that are also rich in anti-oxidants. Recipe of Dragon Fruit and Pomegranate Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 medium-sized dragon fruit (peeled and diced)
1 medium-sized Pomegranate seeds
1 tbsp Oats
1 tbsp Yogurt
2 tsp Honey
Ice cubes (optional)
Edible flowers to Garnish
Method:
1. Blend all the above ingredients in a blender till smooth and creamy.
2. Add ice cubes if you want it to be cold.
3. Pour it into a nice jar, garnish it with edible flowers, pomegranates and serve.
