Foo in Chinese means fortune. Foo at the entrance of the doorstep signifies good luck and prosperity in Chinese culture.
Foo Town is a classic Asian tapas dining launched by Ryan and Keena Tham to express their culinary versatility.
Foo Town is located at the prime locality of Churchgate and is easily accessible and 5 minutes walk from Churchgate Station.
Foo Town serves such amazing classics, along with some new vegan and healthy options. To add to it, the Foo Town menu also includes a few Kamling signature dishes, keeping the Kamling legacy alive.
The Tham Family, once again with Foo Town, presents to us a plethora of the greatest Fine Dining Asian culinary experiences. The vibe here is beautiful, and the red color couches emit an aura of warmth and love. They also have outdoor seating which is bright, casual and looks good while the indoor is more classic and romantic. The decor is simple and elegant that makes this place the favorites of many.
My husband and I visited here for lunch on a weekday and the place got full in half an hour. This explains a lot about it.
I have to say that the hospitality here is a notch higher and everybody from manager to the server was so courteous, friendly, knowledgable and polite. They made sure that we were having a delightful and pleasant mealtime. Kudos to the entire team and yes we were really happy and impressed with the food as well. We are vegetarian and tried many dishes here that were so authentic and tasted so delicious. Each and every dish suggested by our server Mohit was so good and worth trying all of them.
Drinks here were really potent, unique and we enjoyed all the drinks here.
The highlight of our meal was the Truffle Togarshi blue rice that was simply mind-blowing. The blue color of the rice was so appealing and the rice dish tasted so good. On asking we came to know that the natural blue color came from the Malaysian flower Butterfly pea, which when soaked in water leaves its natural Blue color.
