Paneer Butter Masala | Butter Paneer Masala | Easy Paneer Butter Masala | Best Paneer Butter Masala with step-by-step pictures and detailed recipe.
Paneer Butter Masala is a very delicious and famous North Indian gravy. It’s a luscious, creamy curry mainly made with onions, tomatoes, butter, and cashew nuts. However, I have not used cashew nuts in this Butter Paneer Masala gravy as my younger daughter is allergic to it. She loves all the dishes that are made with paneer, so I have avoided using Cashew nuts. Moreover, I would request you to add cashew nuts in this Paneer Butter Masala recipe to make it more rich and creamy.
Why is this Recipe easy?
Paneer Butter Masala is an easy recipe to follow as I have boiled onions, tomatoes, and all dry spices together and later blended into a puree. This method gives a very nice smooth texture to the gravy and it gets cooked faster as well. So this becomes very easy to cook it at home.

Important Notes and Tips
- For best results, always use fresh paneer cubes for this recipe. However, if you want to use frozen paneer cubes, thaw and keep it in warm water for 15-20 minutes before adding it into the gravy.
- You can fry the paneer cubes in oil and add it to the gravy. I have not fried them as we like it this way.
- You can adjust the creaminess and richness as per your taste and preferences.
- For deep storage, transfer it onto an airtight box and you can deep freeze it for a month.
- Serve this with roti, paratha, pooris, or also with rice.
