Recipe of Parle G Mawa Modak
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups Mawa or Khoya
1 cup Condensed milk
1 tsp Cardamom powder
1 tsp Ghee
8-10 Parle G biscuits
Method:
1. Grate the Mawa or Khoya and keep it aside on a plate.
2. Crush 8-10 Parle G biscuits in a food processor and keep it aside.
3. Grease a non-stick pan with little ghee and add grated Mawa , condensed milk and cardamom powder in it.
4. Keep it on a medium flame and keep stirring constantly for 3-4 minutes till Mawa melts and it forms like a liquid consistency.
5. Mix and continue to cook for another 4-5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
Keep stirring constantly or else it will stick to the pan and burn.
6. Switch off the flame when the mixture thickens and forms like a dough.
7. Remove it on a plate and let it cool.
8. Once it cools down a bit add crushed Parle G biscuits in it and mix it well.
9. Let the whole mixture cool for a minute.
10. Grease the modak mold with ghee and start molding it.
11. Make all the modaks in a similar way and place them on a plate.
12. Serve it immediately or you can refrigerate it for 2-3 days.
13. These modaks will not last for more than 2-3 days so be sure to consume it before that.

Ingredients
