Stuffed Mirchi Pakoras

These Mirchi Pakoras | Mirchi Pakoda are stuffed with humble Potato | Aloo filling and are packed with just the right amount of spices. They are crispy and delicious. It’s perfect to have it on a rainy day with a cuppa tea and hot green chutney.

Stuffed Mirchi Pakora

Recipe of Stuffed Mirchi Pakoras | Mirchi Pakoda

Ingredients:

8-10 big green chilies
2 cups boiled potatoes
2 tbsp besan or gram flour
1 tsp Rava or semolina
2 tbsp oil for frying
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp Hing
Salt as per taste

Method:

1. Slit the green chilies and remove all the seeds and keep it aside.

2 Mash the boiled potatoes and add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder and mix well.

3. Stuff the chilies with the above potato mixture and keep it aside in a place.

4. Take besan or gram four in a bowl and add water and semolina in it and mix well till it’s like batter consistency.
Heat oil in a pan.

5. Dip the stuffed Mirchi in besan batter and deep fry in hot oil on a medium flame till its golden brown and crispy.

6. Serve it hot with green chutney and/or tomato ketchup.
