Ingredients
 
 

  • 7-8 boiled Arbi | colocasia | Taro Root
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds | jeera
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 4-5 finely chopped green chilies
  • 1 tsp cumin powder | jeera powder
  • rock salt as per taste
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, boil Arbi in a pressure pan till 2 whistles. Once the pressure releases, open the lid and remove Arbi. Peel the skin once it cools down.
  • Cut Arbi into medium-size slices and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, green chilies and let it splutter.
  • Now add sliced Arbi into the pan and roast it for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add salt, sugar, and mix it well.
  • Finally, add cumin powder and mix everything well till it is crispy and brown.
