Grilled Potato Sandwich

This Grilled Potato Sandwich / Aloo Sandwich is one of the simplest and quick recipes. It is a filling and a delicious versatile recipe made with humble potatoes.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 4 Bread slices White
  • 3 Potatoes Boiled
  • 2 tbsp Green Coriander Chutney
  • 2 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin/Jeera powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper powder
  • a handful of coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • Salt or as per taste
  • 1 red or green chili finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, boil the potatoes, peel the skin and mash it nicely till there are no lumps.
  • Now add black pepper powder, cumin/jeera powder, and chili powder to the mashed potatoes.
  • Also add finely chopped chilies, coriander leaves, lemon juice, and salt into the mashed potatoes.
  • Mix all the spices nicely into the mixture till there are no lumps.
  • Take bread slices, apply butter, and then chutney on all the slices.
  • Now place a spoonful of potato mixture onto the bread slices and cover with the other 2 slices to make a sandwich.
  • Heat a grill pan and apply butter on the pan, once the pan is hot grill the sandwiches till brown and crispy.
  • Once it is cooked and crispy from both sides, remove the sandwiches on a plate, cut it into half and serve it with coriander chutney and tomato ketchup.
