Roasted Almond And Oats Chikki with black sesame seeds are soft, chewy, and a healthy version of Chikkis.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 cups-Oats
  • 2 cups-Organic Jaggery
  • ½ cup-Black Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tsp-Ghee
  • ½ Cup-Roasted Almonds

Instructions
 

  • Take a pan and add 1 tsp of ghee and roast the Oats in it till they are light brown in color and the raw smell disappears.
  • Add black sesame seeds in the same bowl and let it roast for 1 minute. Remove the Oats and black sesame seeds and keep it in a bowl and let it cool.
  • Chop the almonds into small pieces and keep it aside.
  • Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan and roast almonds at a lower flame till they are light brown in color.
  • Keep it aside in a bowl.
  • Heat the pan and add 2 cups of jaggery in it and let it melt till you start seeing the bubbles.
  • Once you see the bubbles in it add Oats, black sesame seeds, and roasted almonds and mix everything till it is well combined and switch off the gas.
  • Take 2 big plates and grease a little with ghee on the flat side and spread the Chikki mixture on it.
  • Cut it into small square pieces while it is hot.
  • Store it in an airtight container once the Chikki cools down.
