Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 cups fresh Strawberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, hull and chop the strawberries into small chunks.
  • Take a heavy bottom non-stick pan and add all the chopped strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice to it.
  • The sugar will start to melt in some time. Once the sugar melts completely, let the mixture boil for 7-8 minutes on a medium flame and stirring in between.
  • When the mixture thickens, approximately after 15 minutes, put the flame on slow and keep stirring the mixture to avoid sticking it to the bottom.
  • Finally, when the mixture thickens completely, switch off the flame and transfer it into a bowl and let it cool down to room temperature.
