Firstly, hull and chop the strawberries into small chunks.
Take a heavy bottom non-stick pan and add all the chopped strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice to it.
The sugar will start to melt in some time. Once the sugar melts completely, let the mixture boil for 7-8 minutes on a medium flame and stirring in between.
When the mixture thickens, approximately after 15 minutes, put the flame on slow and keep stirring the mixture to avoid sticking it to the bottom.
Finally, when the mixture thickens completely, switch off the flame and transfer it into a bowl and let it cool down to room temperature.
