Apple Cinnamon Iced Tea

Looking forward to some time for yourself. Here’s how you can have a relaxant, antioxidant drink that can be made in a jiffy. This Apple Cinnamon Iced Tea is an absolute must try and is my husband’s favorite. It’s a mood changer. After a long day’s work, it complements perfectly with a light dinner and some dimmed lights.

This Home-made recipe of Apple Cinnamon Iced Tea is full of anti-oxidants as it is infused with cinnamon. It is absolutely refreshing and delicious. You can totally control the sweetness of this ice tea by avoiding sugar and substituting with honey. I have used store-bought Apple juice in this recipe, you can make fresh apple juice for this recipe as well. All said and done homemade ice tea always makes a better option then the ready-made blends. Try this recipe at home for your next party or serve it along with dinner to you dear ones, it will surely attract lots of appreciation.

Cinnamon is an anti-oxidant and has many health benefits.
I remember my grand-parents mixing Cinnamon with Honey and giving it to me
during bouts of cold.
Some of the health benefits of Cinnamon are as under:

Recipe of Apple Cinnamon Iced Tea

Ingredients:

200 ml Apple juice

400 ml Water

2 Tea Bags or 2 tsp Tea Powder

1 tbsp Granulated Sugar

1 tsp Cinnamon powder

6-8 Cinnamon sticks

Method:

  1. Boil 4oo ml of water and 1 tbsp of sugar in a pan on a medium flame for 4-5 minutes or till the sugar dissolves in the water.
  2. Turn off the flame and now add the tea bags, 1 tsp cinnamon powder, and 6-8 cinnamon sticks in the boiling water and cover the pan with a lid.
  3. Let the tea bags sit for 10-15 minutes and cinnamon infuses its flavor in the iced tea syrup.
    Discard the tea bags after 10 minutes from the ice tea syrup.
  4. Let the Iced tea syrup cool at room temperature.
  5. I am using the Tetra pack of apple juice if your planning to make fresh juice prepare it and keep it ready.
  6. Take 2 tall glasses, approximately every glass will contain 270-300 ml of total iced tea, depending on your taste.
    If you want to use smaller glasses, you can divide the ingredients accordingly.

How to serve Apple Cinnamon ice-tea:

Follow these simple instructions for preparing ice-tea:
1. Pour 100 ml of Apple juice.
2. Now top it with 200 ml of prepared iced-tea syrup.
3. Cut Apple into thin slices just before serving the ice tea.
4. Garnish with apple slices and cinnamon sticks.
5. Finally, add lots of ice cubes in the ice tea and serve it immediately.
