Recipe of Cheat Baked Churro Chips
Ingredients:
7-8 flour tortillas (10”)
1/1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
as per need Cooking spray
Serve with Hershey’s Chocolate Sauce or any other Chocolate Spread
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
2. Mix sugar and cinnamon together in a pie tin (or similar dish) until well combined.
3. Working one at a time, spray both sides of the tortilla with cooking spray.
4. Press tortilla in a pie tin to cover with cinnamon/sugar then flip and press the other side. (I like to use my hands afterward and massage extra cinnamon/sugar into tortillas).
5. Stack 2-3 “sugared tortillas” together at the time and cut with a pizza cutter or sharp knife into 12 wedges (each).
6. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
7. Arrange wedges in a single layer on multiple baking sheets and bake at 350 for 10-14 minutes or until golden.
8. Broil if desired for extra crispiness. Remove from oven and let rest 15 minutes to set before removing.
