Recipe of Melon Fruit Bowl
Ingredients:
This recipe will serve 2
1 cup watermelon, cut into pieces
1 cup musk melon, cut into pieces
1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
1.2 cup grapes cut into halves
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp chaat masala
1 big musk melon (for a bowl)
Method:
1. Firstly take both the melons and scoop out into the shapes you want. You can do this with the help of a small cookie cutter. I have used a heart and flower shape.
2. Now arrange all the fruits on a plate and sprinkle chaat masala on it and squeeze half a teaspoon of lemon juice on it and give a quick mix.
3. Finally, scoop a big musk melon and cut a small 1./2 a piece from below. This will help the melon bowl to stay flat and hold it properly.
4. Place all the chopped fruits in the melon bowl and serve it immediately.
Important tips:
- It’s better to use fresh fruits for this recipe and not canned ones.
- Refrigerate the fruits in the fridge for an hour before chopping them.
- Cold fruit salads always taste better.
- You can avoid chaat masala and lemon juice in this recipe.
- However, feel free to add more fruits of your choice, for example, oranges, kiwi, strawberries, apples, etc.
- It’s best to use seasonal fruits for making most of the season.
