Melon Popsicles

Melon Popsicles, Melon Ice lollies are such a treat on a hot summer day. These popsicles are sugar-free with no artificial flavours used. Melon popsicles are made with fresh watermelon and cantaloupe and a little extra sweetness from the honey.

Homemade Melon popsicles are a great option as compared to store-bought ones.  Moreover, it allows you to adjust the ingredients we are using. If you have kids at home, then this is the best way to treat them. You can totally avoid honey in this recipe. However, I have added 1/2 tsp honey in this recipe.

Tips:

  • Mainly, blend both the melon separately and later mix to get different shades.
  • Since both the melon are sweet there is no need to add sugar.
  • You can avoid honey as well in this recipe.
  • However, you can add 1 tsp lemon juice while blending watermelon.
  • You can also make this with just watermelon or cantaloupe.
  • Freeze it at least 7-8 hours before checking it out.
  • Moreover, After removing from the freezer run the moulds in tap water, this way it becomes easy to unmould the popsicles.
  • Have it immediately before it melts.
