225g plain flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
225g unsalted butter
100g caster sugar
125g chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 150 C
Sieve together the flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy.
Gradually stir in the dry ingredients and chocolate chips.
Freeze the dough in the deep freezer for 20 minutes.
Remove and cut the cookies into any shape you want to.
Place them on greased baking trays 3cm apart.
Flatten biscuits slightly. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until light golden brown.
Remove from trays to cool on racks.
