Exotic Rocket Leaves and Veggie Tawa Pizza is a delicious Pizza that is a perfect option for someone who is counting calories. This pizza is tempting and loaded with Rocket leaves and you can adjust cheese as per your desire.
Try this healthier version of pizza with rocket leaves and less cheese. It’s done in a jiffy and can be a perfect party appetizer and can be customized as per your preferences.
This exotic rocket leaves and veggie Tawa pizza is my answer to a healthier and tastier version of our regular extra cheese-loaded pizza. It’s made with a wheat pizza base and there is no pizza sauce used in this recipe. It’s a different yet nice version of pizza wherein you can relish it without much guilt.
Recipe of Exotic Rocket leaves and veggie pizza
Ingredients
2 Pizza base Preferably square, but round ones will do just fine.
2 cups Assorted veggies (Baby corn, bell peppers, onion, and broccoli)
1 bunch Rocket leaves
1 cup Grated Processed cheese
2 tsp dry herbs
1 tbsp Tomato ketchup
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
SALT AS PER TASTE
Method:
1. Dice all the vegetables and keep them aside.
2. Take a nonstick pan and heat oil in it, once hot add minced garlic and saute it for a minute.
3. Now add all the vegetables and saute for 2-5 minutes on high flame and stirring continuously.
4. Once the vegetables are soft and tender add salt, dry herbs, and tomato ketchup. Mix it well and keep it in a bowl.
5. Wash and roughly tear rocket leaves with hands and let it dry for 10 minutes.
6. Heat a nonstick Tawa / griddle and spray olive oil on it and add pizza base.
7. Spread the vegetable mixture on it, spread some rocket leaves and finally add grated cheese over it.
8. Cover the pizza with a lid till the base is crispy and cheese is melted a bit.
