Mint Buttermilk

Mint buttermilk or Pudina Chaas is a refreshing Indian drink that acts as a perfect coolant. This buttermilk is very commonly served in our Indian homes post-meal. Fresh mint is muddled and then mixed in cold yogurt to enhance the maximum flavor. It is then blended well and spiced with freshly crushed Cumin powder.

Recipe of Mint Buttermilk

Ingredients
1 cup Yogurt / Curd
8-10 Fresh mint leaves
1 1/2 cups Cold Water
1 tsp Freshly crushed cumin powder
1 tsp Salt / Black salt
Ice cubes

Method:

1. Chop the mint leaves finely.

2. Take a blender and all the above ingredients.

3. Blend until smooth and frothy.

4. Add more water if you want it more liquidy.

5. Spice this buttermilk with freshly crushed cumin powder and serve with ice cubes.
