Oats and dry fruit kheer or Oats Payasam are very healthy, delicious. and simple to make it at home. It is for those days when we want to indulge in some guilt-free dish that satiates our sweet tooth craving.
I am super excited for this Oats kheer (made using sugar), also known as Oats Payasam (made using jaggery) with roasted almonds, pistachios and dry rose petals as it is simple, easy and can be cooked in a jiffy. I truly feel that cooking and exposing kids to healthy options is an ideal way to boost their self-esteem. Exposure to healthy food makes them understand their nutrition value and also helps them develop their taste buds. Oats is one such versatile ingredient that is super healthy and has so many benefits. Try to include Oats in your family and kids’ daily diet in whatever form you want.
Our family is blessed with sweet tooth…let us be honest we all crave it. I have recently started experimenting with lots of sweet dishes and desserts alike. I love to feed them as healthy as possible. Kheer is one such sweet dish that is relished by only by me and my younger daughter a lot. Well, she can gobble up the whole bowl and not be satiated!!
I have tried many kheers for us like rice kheer, vermicelli kheer, Lauki kheer, etc. They all turned out to be yummy and delicious. This was for the first time I have tried Oats and dry fruit kheer. Most importantly my younger one loved it and now this is going to be cooked often in my house. Try this in your home and feed this sweet healthy kheer.
