Younion is a place where youth unites for spending an amazing time with friend and good food. It is located at Kamala Mills, Lower Parel and is another interesting venture of Zorawar Kalra. This place has a colourful forest theme and it’s such a visual treat to the eyes. Every inch of it looks beautiful and picture-worthy. This place gives a fresh and young feel with nice music being played. There were also some interesting props to click pictures and they also have games to keep you engaged while you wait for the order.
The service is nice and quick and the staff guys are very neatly presented. They have a fully loaded bar to quench the thirst and also have different flavours of alcoholic and non-alcoholic shots. We tried some and they were nice.
Non-alcoholic shots are mainly juices that they serve in shot glasses for those who don’t drink but can not be left out from the crowd who drinks and be merry.
Coming to the food that we tried here.-
Chana Koliwada
Koliwada spiced deep-fried chickpeas with pods of garlic and tempered curry leave served in paper cones made a perfect side dish. Goes well with cocktails and perfect to start with.
Hara Bhara Candy
This was such a cute looking dish in the shape of the candy. It’s a mix of minced broccoli, beans, Capsicum and stuffed with cheese and served with mint chutney. Lovely texture and a good taste.
Crispy Lotus Stem
This one was very interesting and tasted so good. Thin and crispy Lotus Stem topped with vegetables and cheese, tasted so delicious. A must-order dish here.
Chile Con queso
Nachos chips served with. Ramy spicy cheddar cheese sauce. A perfect starter that nobody can say a no to. Youth surely will enjoy this one.
Smoked marinated Olives
This was a very interesting and unique one. Smoked olives marinated with pomegranate molasses and served with creamy mint labneh. It was very refreshing and every bite gave a nice taste to our buds. I Will recommend if you want to experiment and like olives.
Local seasonal Veg Momo
Stir-fried vegetable momos served with spicy chutney. Tasted good.
Zhunka Bhakar Kendra
How often have you seen this dish taking the centre stage on the tables??
Who would have thought of serving this dish in such a presentable way?
This dish will surely take you back to the basics and will comfort you. Bajra Roti served with Zhunka, a bowl of steamed rice, garlic chutney and onions, just a perfect way to end your meal.
Caramel Cheesecake
Layered cheesecake with honeycomb crust that looked and tasted heavenly. One of the best caramel cheesecakes I have eaten to date. It was a sinful indulgence.
Nariyal Pani Pannacotta
One of the beat pannacotta I have relished and was craving for more.
A layer of Nariyal Pani and cream that was just perfectly set and wobbly. The freshness and texture of this dessert blew my mind away and I will recommend this here. Full credits to the chef.
Overall a fantastic place and a full point for food, ambience and service. The best part is all the age groups are allowed here next time I am surely coming here with my kids and friends. A perfect place to You-nite ๐๐
