Arbi Roast | Sukhi Vrat Wali Arbi
Ingredients
- 7-8 boiled Arbi | colocasia | Taro Root
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds | jeera
- 1 tsp sugar
- 4-5 finely chopped green chilies
- 1 tsp cumin powder | jeera powder
- rock salt as per taste
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
- Firstly, boil Arbi in a pressure pan till 2 whistles. Once the pressure releases, open the lid and remove Arbi. Peel the skin once it cools down.
- Cut Arbi into medium-size slices and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, green chilies and let it splutter.
- Now add sliced Arbi into the pan and roast it for 3-4 minutes.
- Add salt, sugar, and mix it well.
- Finally, add cumin powder and mix everything well till it is crispy and brown.
