It’s time of the year to bake and crave some delectable sweets. Chocolate surely is the heart warmer this season. I have baked Eggless Chocolate Almond Brownies which was worth every single bite.
Recipe of Eggless Chocolate Almond Brownies
Ingredients:
1 cup-All Purpose Flour or Maida
1 cup -Icing Sugar
1/2 cup melted Butter
1/3 cup- Hershey’s Cocoa Powder
3/4 cup-Yogurt
1/2 tbs-Milk
1/2 cup-Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup- chopped Almonds
2 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
Method:
1. Line a square baking dish with parchment paper and brush all sides with butter.
2. Meanwhile, preheat oven at 180 degrees C for 10 minutes.
3. Sift flour, salt, baking powder, and cocoa powder in a bowl and add icing sugar to it and mix well and keep it aside.
4. In another bowl, whisk the melted butter, yogurt, and milk till well combined.
5. Now add the dry mixture to the liquid mixture and mix till just combined and do not over-mix it.
6. Pour this batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees C.
7. Check by inserting a fork or toothpick in the center to check if the brownies are baked properly.
8. Once the brownies are baked, cool the brownies in the pan and cool them onto a wire rack.
9. Store it in an air-tight container.
Notes:
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
1. Brownies are best tasted when they are fresh and hot.
2. You can serve hot brownies with Vanilla or chocolate ice-cream.
3. Drizzle chocolate or caramel sauce on hot brownies and relish it.
4. Make a chocolate trifle with slices of brownies and whatever you fancy.
5. Make a Brownie blast with adding ice cream and lots of nuts you like and a generous drizzle of chocolate sauce.
6. If you are not using all the brownies at one go store them in an air-tight container and keep it in the fridge.
7. Heat it in a microwave for 30 seconds before having it.
