Mango Iced Tea is a refreshing cool drink that is prepared with a fresh puree made from Alphonso. In summers, this Mango Iced Tea is a nice option and a substitute for our regular Ginger Tea.
When you feel like indulging in a soothing and cool drink, then this Mango Iced Tea is best. This iced tea is sweet, refreshing, and tastes so good. You can prepare the mango puree and tea infusion and keep it in the fridge for 3-4 days. All you need to do is pour mix both of them, pour it into the glass, add few ice cubes, and enjoy the drink.
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups water
2 tbsp Sugar
2 tsp tea powder or 2 English breakfast tea bags
2 mangoes, puree
1 tbsp icing sugar
1 lemon juice
8-10 mint leaves to garnish
Recipe of Mango Iced Tea
1. Firstly, boil water in a pan and add sugar and tea powder. Boil it for 5 minutes and switch off the flame.
2. Now cover the lid and leave it for 10 minutes.
3. Open the lid and strain the tea and refrigerate for an hour.
4. Finally, prepare the mango puree by taking 2 ripe Alphonso and sugar. Remove the pulp from the mango, add sugar and puree it in a blender.
How to serve
5. Take a big jug and pour tea, mango puree, juice of 1 lime, and mix it well.
6. Pour it in the glasses, add ice cubes, garnish with mint leaves, and serve it chilled.

Recipe Notes:
- You can use green tea bags in this recipe.
- Always use Alphonso mangoes for preparing Mango Iced Tea, this will naturally give a good taste to the Iced Tea.
- Serve it chilled with lots of ice cubes in it
- It is the best drink to have in summers as it will keep you hydrated, so always keep a jar of mango iced tea ready.
- You can also prepare this with canned mango pulp.
- If your mangoes are too sweet, you can avoid adding sugar to the puree.
