175 ml double cream
225 g dark chocolate (good quality)
2 tbsp. sifted cocoa
Sifted icing sugar for rolling
2 tbsp.chocolate sprinkles
2 tbsp. colorful sprinkles
2 tbsp. desiccated coconut

Chocolate Truffles

    A chocolate truffle is a type of chocolate confectionery, traditionally made with a chocolate ganache center coated in chocolate, cocoa powder or chopped toasted nuts (typically hazelnuts, almonds or coconut), usually in a spherical, conical, or curved shape.

    It is very easy to prepare and including kids everyone will just love it. They are so delicious and melt in mouth chocolates.

    In a small saucepan, pour the cream in and bring it to the boil.
    Remove from heat and add the chocolate.
    Stir it continuously until it is all melted and you have a creamy smooth consistency.
    Set aside to cool for 2-3 hours.
    When cooled and set, cover your hands in icing sugar and roll teaspoon sized balls. Roll in cocoa.
    You can roll these in a few different coatings like desiccated coconut, cocoa powder, sprinkles etc.
