Japanese Yasai Salad

This month’s challenge at Chefs across boundaries CAB is hosted by our very talented member Shaheen Ali is Japanese cuisine. The link of her blog is http://www.spoonforkandfood.com/
Japanese food has the gifted longevity to the Japanese people. Much of the traditional food eaten in Japan today is obtained from the sea. Soybean and its products like soya sauce, tofu, miso and so on play an important role in Japanese cuisine. With the influence of Zen Buddhism from China, some good vegetarian dish was introduced to Japan. But still, it is difficult to incorporate vegetarian dishes.
My pick for this challenge is Yasai Salad.
A Japanese vegetable salad with the pleasant aroma of sesame seeds and pungent flavor of soya sauce.
Yasai Salad.
