1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup rice flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup granulated brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine,softened
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups finely chopped dates.

Whole wheat Date Cookies

    Nothing can be more yummy than a freshly baked warm cookie.
    Well substituting it with healthy ingredients makes it the best tasting cookie one can bake at home in a jiffy.

    Place softened butter or margarine into a large mixing bowl.
    Stir in sugars, beating until well combined.
    Add flour, baking soda, salt and chopped dates, stirring until dough forms.
    Refrigerate the dough for 15-20 minutes.
    Now Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a large baking sheet or parchment paper.
    Roll the cookie dough and cut into your desired shapes.
    Bake for 10-12 minutes, until slightly golden around the edges.
    Remove and let cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring.
    Serve and enjoy.
