Spinach Corn Sandwich | Corn Spinach Sandwich with a step-by-step and pictorial sweet corn recipe. This is one of the easiest, delicious, and nutritious recipes that can be made at home. With just a few steps and 4-5 main ingredients, you can cook this spinach corn sandwich in a jiffy.
This humble Spinach Corn Sandwich can also be a healthy breakfast option or can be served as a quick dinner. Moreover, it has also become a famous street-side food. The recipe is very simple, just follow the steps below.

Step-By-Step Recipe of Spinach Corn Sandwich
Ingredients:
This recipe will yield 4-6 sandwiches
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 1/2 cups boiled sweet corn
1 1/2 cups fresh chopped spinach
1/3 cup All-purpose flour, maida
1/2 cup cold milk
1/2 tsp pepper powder
3-4 cubes of grated processed cheese
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tbsp cooking oil
Salt as per taste
10-12 slices of white bread
2-3 tbsp Butter
Method:
1. Firstly, heat cooking oil in a pan, and once it’s hot add ginger garlic paste.
2. Now add boiled sweet corn kernels and saute for 2 minutes till little brown.
3. Add chopped spinach and mix it well and cook for 2 minutes.
4. Now add all-purpose flour to the pan as shown in the picture, mix well and cook it for a minute. Stir it continuously so that it doesn’t stick to the pan.
5. Time to add cold milk in the corn and spinach mixture and keep stirring well for 2 minutes.
6. Once the milk has mixed well with the flour, let it boil for a minute in the pan.
7. Now add oregano, chili flakes, pepper powder, and salt and mix it well.
8. Finally, add grated cheese, mix it well, and switch off the flame. Allow some time to cool down.
How to proceed:
9. Arrange bread slices, and apply butter on it, and spread 2 tbsp of spinach and corn stuffing. Grate some cheese and cover another slice of bread and press it gently.
10. Heat a Tawa | Griddle and apply butter on it and roast the sandwich on both sides till brown and crispy.
11. Serve this Spinach and Corn Sandwich with coriander or mint chutney and tomato ketchup.
Notes and Variations:
- You can use a brown slice of bread as well for this sandwich.
- Toast it either on a Tawa or griddle or you can use an equity toaster as well.
- Use Olive Oil instead of Butter if health-conscious.
- You can avoid cheese in this recipe, however, it tastes better with it.
- Applying green chutney on the bread slices is optional, I have not applied here.
