These Mix Til Gur Ladoos are soft. chewy and divine to the core. The spices like dry ginger powder and cardamom powder added to it make it even more tempting and delectable. These homemade Ladoos are far better and healthier than store-bought. Well, this is really my idea for this Sankranti.
Recipe of Mix Til Gur Ladoos
Ingredients:
3 Cups Black and White Sesame Seeds
1 3/4TH Cup Organic Jaggery
1 tsp Ghee
1 tsp Dry Ginger Powder
Method:
1. Take a non-stick heavy bottom pan and dry roast white and black sesame seeds on a lower flame for 5 minutes and keep it aside in a bowl.
2. In the same pan add jaggery and let it melt stirring in between so that it doesn’t stick to the pan.
3. Once you start seeing the bubbles add dry ginger powder and cardamom powder and mix well.
4. Switch off the gas and add sesame seeds in the jaggery and mix well.
5. Remove the above mixture in a broad vessel and start making small Ladoos out of it while it is hot. You can apply little water on your palms so that it doesn’t stick to your hand.
6. Make all the Ladoos and let it cool at room temperature.
7. Once cooled transfer the Ladoos into an airtight container.
