These Wholewheat Date Cookies are a healthier version of Cookies that are baked using wheat flour along with iron-rich Dates. These Cookies are very easy to bake and are a great option for kids as it is nutritious and also will satiate their hunger cravings.

Well substituting it with healthy ingredients makes it the best tasting cookie one can bake at home in a jiffy.
Recipe of Wholewheat Date Cookies
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup rice flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup granulated brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups finely chopped dates.
Method:
1. Place softened butter or margarine into a large mixing bowl.
2. Stir in sugars, beating until well combined.
3. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and chopped dates, stirring until dough forms.
4. Refrigerate the dough for 15-20 minutes.
5. Now Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a large baking sheet or parchment paper.
6. Roll the cookie dough and cut it into your desired shapes.
7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until slightly golden around the edges.
Notes:
Remove and let cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring.
