How to make Healthy Bournvita Cookies
Bournvita chocolate oat cookies are a healthy makeover to our regular chocolate cookies. They are made with wheat flour…oats…and Bournvita powder. So in all healthy quotient is in abundance for kids and adults alike.
There are so many reasons to salivate about these cookies. They are crunchy…yummy..delicious and most importantly healthy. A perfect snack option for kids.
This recipe comes out nice and well baked. You do not need to depend on the shelves of the health store for buying these cookies. You can just bake them at home with the best quality ingredients and it stays well in an airtight jar for a week if they last that long!!

My kids and hubby were right behind me salivating and asked me not to click pictures as they just could not resist tasting them. Well, I somehow managed to click some random pics. Once in a while, such pictures are allowed, right?
Recipe for Bournvita Cookies
Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup Bournvita
1-2 tablespoon milk powder
1-2 tablespoon brown sugar (or as per taste)
1 teaspoon baking powder
10-15 almonds
100 grams- butter
2 tbs- cocoa powder
2-3 tbs- milk
Method:
1. Put oats, flour, almonds, sugar, baking powder, Bournvita, and butter in a mixer grinder jar.
2. Give them a few rounds of churn. Take out the mixture in a big mixing bowl.
3. Sprinkle cocoa powder and add milk to make a dough.
4. Scoop the mixture on the baking tray leaving some space in between.
5. Bake them for 15-20 minutes or until done. The time may vary according to the oven and the thickness of the cookies.
6. Take them out of the oven and leave them on a baking tray for 5 minutes.
7. Transfer to a wire rack to cool down completely.
Notes:
Once cooled store them in an airtight container.
