Step-By-Step Recipe of Eggless Chocolate Ragi Cake
Ingredients:
3/4 cup Ragi | Nachni | finger-millet Flour
3/4 cup wheat flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
200 gms condensed milk
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
100 ml aerated water | Plain soda
Colorful sprinkles
For Chocolate Ganache:
70 grams dark cooking chocolate
100 ml fresh cream
Method:
1. Firstly, grease a round cake tin with butter and dust with wheat flour, and keep it aside.
2. Secondly, preheat the oven at 180 c for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, do the preparations for the eggless chocolate ragi cake.
3. Now, sieve ragi flour wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, a pinch of salt, and keep it aside in a bowl.
4. Mix together and beat condensed milk, butter, and vanilla essence.
5. Add the above dry ingredients to condensed milk mixture and add aerated water | plain soda and beat for a minute.
6 Finally, pour the ragi cake mixture into the prepared greased tin and tap it once to remove all the air.
7. Bake it in a pre-heated oven at 180 C for 35-40 minutes. Towards the end check it with a toothpick, if it comes out clean, your eggless chocolate ragi cake is baked properly.
8. Remove the ragi cake from the oven and let it cool for 30 minutes at room temperature.
9. Lastly, unmould the cake, cut into small pieces and top it with chocolate ganache and sprinklers.
