Peas And Corn Oats Poha is a wholesome, healthy, and delicious breakfast recipe. It is made in a jiffy and is a perfect option for the morning as it will keep you full for a longer time. I have used Green peas and sweet corn in this recipe, you can add vegetables of your choice like carrots, beans, etc. This Peas And Corn Oats Poha taste best when it is served hot and if the garnishing is done right, the taste will be even better.
Recipe of Peas And Corn Oats Poha
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup Instant Oats
1 small cup Chopped Onions
1 small cup Boiled Sweet corn
1 small cup Boiled Green Peas
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp mustard seeds
1ts cumin seeds, jeera
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp finely chopped green chilies
1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
2 tsp oil
Salt as per taste
For Garnishing
1 tsp lime juice
1/2 cup fresh shredded coconut
Method:
1. Take a bowl and soak the oats in water for 5 mins and then drain off the excess water.
2. Heat the pan and add olive oil, once its hot add mustard seeds and Cumin seeds | jeera
3. Once it starts spluttering add the chopped onions, green chilies, and ginger-garlic paste.
4. Heat till the onions are translucent, now add boiled corn and peas.
5. Lower the heat add salt, a pinch of turmeric powder, and oats.
6. Mix well so that the oats do not break.
7. Remove from heat.
8. Add lime juice and shredded fresh coconut for garnishing.
Oats Poha is ready to serve.
