Does this Pina Colada Smoothie contain alcohol?
No, this is a non-alcoholic drink as it’s a breakfast smoothie. However, if you are making a drink like Pina Colada Cocktail, you can add rum. But please note smoothies are non-alcoholic drinks.
My version has fewer calories as I have used Coconut water instead of coconut milk or coconut cream.
Tips for making this Sugar-free Smoothie
Always use frozen fruits for a thick smoothie. Plan your smoothie in advance and freeze fruits the previous night. If you are a smoothie lover like me, always store frozen bananas in your refrigerator.
I like my smoothies a little thick, so avoid adding water, but If I want little liquid consistency then I add ice cubes.
I have not added sugar, honey or any sweetener in this recipe as bananas and pineapples are sweet enough. If you prefer your smoothie a little sweet, then I would advise adding 1 or 2 tsp of honey.
Always have this smoothie fresh as it tastes best. You can not store or freeze this smoothie as it will turn bitter in taste.

Step-by-Step Recipe of Sugar-free Pina Colada Smoothie
Ingredients:
1/2 frozen banana
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1/4 cup coconut water
1 tsp Vanilla essence
Method:
Combine all the ingredients into a blender as shown in the picture.
Blend it well into a smoothie till there are no chunks left.
Notes:
1. Add little water or ice cubes to get the desired consistency.
2. You can use coconut milk instead of coconut water, which works well too.
