Paneer Peas Pulav is a one-pot rice dish made that is flavorful and delicious. It is prepared in ghee with deep-fried paneer and boiled green peas. This Pulav is a tempting variation of our regular Pulav. It is filling and makes a hearty meal when served with curds and papads. This recipe is very convenient for bachelors as it is very easy and simple to follow. Very few ingredients are required to make this Paneer peas Pulav and this will taste even better if you have pre-cooked rice.
This recipe can further be made easy when used frozen paneer cubes and frozen peas. Just remove them from the freezer and thaw them.
It also makes an ideal recipe for kids’ lunchboxes as it is also rich in proteins and will keep them satiated for a longer time. Serve this with Boondi raita.

Recipe of Paneer Mutter Pulav
Ingredients:
2 cups Boiled and cooled Long Basmati rice
1 cup Paneer cubes
1 cup Boiled peas
1/2 cup Fried onions slices
1 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tbsp Ghee
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Lemon juice
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Boil basmati rice and keep it aside in a bowl.
2. Let it cool down at room temperature.
3. Boil 2 cups of water in a pan and salt in it.
4. Add green peas and let it boil for 7-8 minutes till green peas are soft.
5. Make small cubes of paneer and keep it aside.
6. Heat 1 tbsp Ghee in a nonstick pan and fry paneer cubes in it.
7. Add salt and fry for 2 minutes till they are crisp and brown.
8. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a broad vessel and add cumin seeds in it.
9. Once they crackle add paneer cubes and boiled peas in it.
10. Add boiled basmati rice, cumin powder, garam masala and salt in it. Give it a gentle stir so that the rice grains don’t break.
11. Finally add lemon juice, stir and garnish with fried and caramelized onions sliced.
12. Serve it hot with Boondi raita or vegetable raita.
